Cordaan Chooses Disposal Chutes
During the renovation of care center d’Oude Raai, healthcare organization Cordaan made a deliberate choice to improve internal logistics. In collaboration with Dura Vermeer, two stainless steel chute systems from Stansz were installed: one for waste and one for linen. These chutes span seven floors (including the basement), with a total height of 18 meters, and are each equipped with six stainless steel loading doors.
What makes the system unique is that there is no electricity needed to transport the waste from the top floors to the waste bins in the basement.
The stainless steel chutes are made from durable and hygienic Stainless steel 304, with an internal diameter of 600 mm. Their sanitary finish and robust construction ensure a safe, reliable, and future-proof solution for vertical logistics in buildings.
